Bal (Piotr Bal) - trumpet/gtr/composer.

In his solo career Bal has recorded/produced several CD’s including
“Sometime Soon” featuring David Benoit on piano, Vinnie Colaiuta on
drums, and others. In February 2006 he has completed
“Atonal Head”,
a CD collaboration with
Ray Manzarek of The Doors featuring vocals
by Jim Morrison on
Riders On The Storm.

Bal has composed original scores for such films as “Making the
Twilight” a documentary about making “Twilight” with Paul Newman;
“Trafficking” a feature film directed by Joe Minion; “Holy Hollywood”
(winner of the Valley International Film Festival Best Feature Award
Comedy/Drama 2004) a feature film with Micky Rooney; “The Big
Fish”, “The Adventures Of Rug Raymond” directed by Pascal
Franchot; “Mission of Hope”, "Stolen Lives", "Frontier" documentaries
directed by Takahiro Hamano for NHK (Japan); Cabaret X, an official
selection for the New York International Film Festival; “Nothing,
Nobody, Nowhere” (winner of The Old Peculiar Award at Ann Arbor
Film Festival); "Tangled";
"Manscaping" and much more...

As a trumpeter, Bal has worked on numerous CD projects for V2
Records and DreamWorks Records, among others. Bal is featured on
Ricky Martin’s videos; “Livin’ La Vida Loca”, “Shake Your Bon-Bon”
Ricky Martin’s PEPSI commercial, Lou Bega’s video “Tricky, Tricky“,
Jay Leno’s “Tonight Show”, “The Ally McBeal Show”, “Charlie’s
Angels”, “The Italian Job”,
“Love Her Madly”, “Alias Episode 10”,
"Boston Public" and many others.
