Great Atmosphere
A lot of electronic music tries to be too complicated for
its own good. The great thing about this track is that
whoever made it realized that the key to a good
electronica track is to start simple, and build up slowly,
adding layers and textures as the song develops.
The synth voice that begins alone, then doubles and
triples itself, is a simple, yet memorable melody, and
the percussion that underlies it is clear and crisp,
mixed perfectly with the other elements of the song.
There are a lot of interesting and subtle elements in
this song. The beat-boxing was unexpected, but
somehow ended up working as well. This song
manages to create a very dream-like atmoshpere,
even if it borders on losing some continuity by cutting
out the beat a bit too often.
Really well produced and arranged. This is a song I
could listen to many times.
